G&O Kert invest in extended lights-out manufacturing with an Agile Flex

G&O Kert have added an Agile Flex 35D robotic loading system to their Mazak Integrex i-250H S twin spindle multi-tasking machine tool, to boost the machine’s productivity and deliver extended lights-out manufacturing.

The Agile Flex 35D as specified by G&O Kert delivers a superior parts capacity and unrivalled production flexibility through four 100Kg capacity drawers which can be loaded with different size products up to 150mm height in each drawer, and a top pallet option accommodating parts up to 300mm.

The Agile Flex 35D can be specified with up to eight drawers and features a Fanuc M-20iA/35M robot to handle workpieces weighing up to 16 kg.

Parts are handled through both head 1 and head 2 spindles on the Mazak, allowing for complete part processing in one pass.

The Agile Flex is perpendicularly mounted to the Mazak with a small amount of safety fencing to significantly reduce the required operating space in front of the machine while still providing excellent access for machine setup.

Combined with the market leading Agile Flex Cell Controller which does not require any robot programming experience, G&O Kert are sure to get the most out of their CNC machine tool.
